S-MM2H

Sarawak’s MM2H programme, overseen by the Ministry of Tourism, offers foreigners affordable property prices and top-tier healthcare services, standing out amidst changes in the federal program.

The Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak (MTCP) manages the S-MM2H program, which offers foreign residents lower property purchase thresholds compared to other Malaysian states.

The program’s popularity has increased due to changes in the federal MM2H scheme. While the MM2H income requirement rose from RM10,000 to RM40,000, Sarawak maintained its original S-MM2H terms and continued accepting applications throughout the pandemic, helping build trust among long-term residents.
