InvestSarawak is a dynamic one-stop centre (OSC) for all investors. We are the Investment Promotion, Industry Development and International Trade agency under the purview of the Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment (MINTRED) Sarawak.
Our focus is on enhancing the ease of doing business by supporting firms in navigating regulations and connecting investors with opportunities. This highlights Sarawak Government’s commitment to an investor-friendly environment.
InvestSarawak, an agency under the purview of the Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment (MINTRED) Sarawak, is the One-Stop-Centre (OSC) dedicated to attracting investments to Sarawak while fostering trade and talent development, in alignment with Sarawak’s vision for 2030 and beyond — to be a dynamic society fueled by data and innovation bolstered by social inclusivity and sustainable growth.
Reporting to The Right Honourable Premier Of Sarawak, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg, who chairs the Board with 13 other key members, InvestSarawak works in close collaboration with various key agencies and stakeholders throughout Sarawak, including the private sector.
InvestSarawak offers a comprehensive range of services to investors and project developers, from the initial conceptualisation of projects to the eventual successful commercialisation and implementation. This includes first-contact engagement, facilitation and comprehensive support in areas such as project definition, feasibility studies, access to funding as well as providing local insights to help investors navigate the local investment landscape.
InvestSarawak works with companies on the necessary approvals and applications for their investment projects, offering continued support and guidance to investors throughout their investment journey.
With the rapid change in the business environment amidst challenging global challenges and intense regional competitions, InvestSarawak also looks at helping domestic companies integrate with the global marketplace. This is done through trade growth programmes, capability building, innovation and internationalising their presence to prepare their businesses for the future.
